Based in Round Rock TX, Laura of Craft Takeover makes colorful & practical home decor products meant to be used & loved every day.
Craft Takeover was started by Laura Ward in 2014. Her love for making (mostly sewing and quilting) and baking (mostly cookies) eventually led her to combine those passions and create unique items for the kitchen and home that were pretty to look at and useful as can be.
At Craft Takeover we utilize upcycled fabric to reduce textile waste. Production offcuts from oven mitts and pot holders are transformed into charming accessories like colorful floral keychains in every color of the rainbow, lavender relaxing eye pillows, and more.
Laura sews out of her home studio based in Round Rock Texas, where she lives with her husband, 2 daughters, and a sweet senior cat named Mush. When she’s not sewing Craft Takeover goods, you might find her hand stitching a quilt, working on a puzzle, or gardening.
